Portland Story Theater’s sell-out festival, Singlehandedly, completes its 4 week run this Friday with an exhilarating line up of 8 performers each telling a short story at the StorySLAM! For those of you who already have a reservation for this Friday, consider yourselves lucky!
Friday, May 14th, is completely and utterly sold out! We are grateful for the tremendous response and the support from all of you, our listeners.
But don't despair is you don't have a ticket. You can experience some of the tremendous talent from PST's Singlehandedly Solo Performance Festival this Saturday night at ScratchPDX's final show of the season. May 15th, 9 PM at Hipbone, 1847 East Burnside, the hippest venue in town! $10. Hosted by Don Kern, one of PST's Singlehandedly artists, Don will be joined by many of the other Singlehandedly artists like Domeka Parker, Wayne Haythorn, Ry Stroud, Lynne Duddy, Lawrence Howard... in an improv piece. Maybe you know it? Story, Story, Die!!!
Plus, Lynne and Lawrence's band,
Wood Vibes, is the house band for this season finale. It's Afro beat marimba music that is hypnotic and up-lifting. Wood Vibes is Amy Zilk, Usha Noble, Borden Beck, Brian Santo, Rob Fishel, Rae Sakry, Lawrence Howard and Lynne Duddy.
Wood Vibes will perform with Grace Constantine and
Deviant Dance who will do fusion belly dance.
This is going to be a spectacular final show for ScratchPDX!

Summer Workshops
PST will be offering workshops on creating your own personal stories. Space is extremely limited. The setting intimate. Email us at tellers@portlandstorytheater.com if you are interested. We'll be sending out info in June for sessions later in the summer.
