The Economic Research Council is proud to announce that the sixth annual Clash of the Titans economic forecasting event will be held on Wednesday 30th November at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, and will once again be kindly supported by PwC.
The Clash of the Titans events feature academics and notable alumni from the top three economics departments in the country (Oxford, Cambridge, and LSE) giving their forecasts for what will happen to the UK economy in 2017 in the aftermath of Brexit. We track their performance over the course of the following year, and we'll announce the winner at next year's Clash.
This year's event will once again by chaired by Andrew Sentance, Senior Economic Adviser to PwC and former member of the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee, and promises to be another entertaining and informative evening.
Tickets for the event cost £20 each, while tickets for students are available for just £15 each. This year, we are once again offering a ticket to the exclusive post-event VIP drinks reception for an additional £10 per head.
The pre-event reception (from 6.30) remains free for everyone to enjoy a complimentary drink before the talks start.
Speakers are to be announced.
