MEDIA INVITE: #BoycottWoolworths Protest outside Woolworths AGM, today in Cape Town and solidarity protest in Durban

The National Coalition 4 Palestine (NC4P), Cosatu, Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) South Africa and other organisations will hold a protest outside the Woolworths Annual General Meeting (AGM), today, as part of the #BoycottWoolworths campaign. A simultaneous protest will take place in Durban as well.

Shareholder activists and private investors in Woolworths will be attending the AGM in Cape Town to raise pertinent issues, including why Woolworths is steadfast in maintaining a R12 million a year trade relationship with Israel at the expense of losing almost R8 million a month according to a recent #BoycottWoolworths impact report.
The #BoycottWoolworths campaign is gaining momentum and intensifying ahead of the festive season.
