The Mackworth Club has had a very busy summer, commencing with the AGM in June and attending two functions in August. The first was joint sponsorhip of a cricket match at Carmarthen cricket club with St Peters Lodge and secondly the Narberth Beer festival. On Friday 9th August W.Bro. Mike Eckley presented a cheques for £600 to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit at Glangwili Hospital, the cheque was part of the Provincial Charity initiative where each Lodge was given £600 to give to a charity of their choice. W.Bro. Mike championed the cause for this charity as he has previously relied on their services.
