Noël Loozen (b. 1983 in Geleen, Netherlands) lives and works in the city of Amsterdam. He graduated from the photography department at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2009, in which he was at this time nominated for the Steenbergen Stipendium with his project “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood”. Loozen went on to work for Viviane Sassen as a Photographic Assistant for two years following his graduation. In June 2014 he graduated with a MA in Film at the Netherlands Film Academy with his first short film “The Hornhunter”.
