Road Closure Just a quick email to let you know that Council has carried out some maintenance works on Richard Road, between Cargo and Bell. Half the road is closed off due to unstable surface until they return tomorrow with, I believe, some concrete. They have put in some drainage for this section of roadway which is not a permanent solution, but a temporary situation due to pooling of water along that stretch of road. A more permanent design for the road and drainage along Richard Road will be factored into the capital works budget, but not in the short term.
