What: Please join us for our annual Signature Event, Passionate About Purple. This event will feature the Couture Violette Fashion Show. This unique fashion concept based on the theme, Passionate About Purple (Gwen's Girls signature color), will challenge local Pittsburgh designers to create original couture gowns showcasing a shade of purple. 

Tara Rieland is the Event Chair/Show Producer.

Designers include: Alex Beitler, Zoe Collins, Stephanie Keremes Hartnoll, Linda Lacek, Tori Mistick, Lana Neumeyer, Nami Ogawa, Marla Parker, Jena-Anne Sabom, Kiya Tomlin, and Roberta Weissburg. 

Designs will be auctioned to benefit Gwen's Girls.

Why: A special event benefiting Gwen's Girls, a unique agency that empower girls and young women to have productive lives through holistic, gender-specific programs, education and experiences. Gwen's Girls was founded in 2002 by Gwendolyn ("Gwen") J. Elliott, who retired as a commander of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. "We are one of the few agencies in the nation that offers a unique, gender-specific comprehensive continuum of care for girls and young women," stated Lynn Knezevich, Executive Director. "Your investment in Gwen's Girls is an investment in the community," she added.
