About Us
The Wales Craft Collective is a new project to encourage and promote handmade arts and crafts in Wales.
We want to provide a one-
stop hub for all local artists and crafts people, crafts suppliers, and arts-related events organisers in Wales.

Our Mission
Our aim is to bring together local artists, crafters, arts-related events organisers, suppliers and potential customers, to help promote local businesses and talent in Wales.   We hope to help to showcase the work of artists and crafts people in Wales, and promote it to a wider public audience.

What We Do
We will provide a comprehensive directory service where customers, sellers, organisers and suppliers could come to find information on local events and fairs or local makers.

How will joining The Wales Craft Collective help to promote your work?
By joining The Wales Craft Collective, you will be increasing your online visibility in a number of ways:
  • We will send out regular newsletters to everyone on our mailing list, Facebook page and Twitter page, highlighting all of our new members and including links to their websites and thereby providing exposure to a wider audience and potential new customers.
  • Our website has an integrated RSS feed, so any visitors to the website can subscribe to the feed and get automatic updates of new additions to the website.
  • For our members on Twitter - tag your tweets with #walescraft, we will retweet it to all of our followers and thereby increase the reach of your tweets, and bring them to the attention of a wider follower base.
  • For our members on Facebook - tag our fanpage in your updates and it will show up on our page for all our fans to see.
  • Members can also add pictures of their products, designs or events to our Flickr group, which will also be displayed on our website, and become visible to a wider audience.
The more websites that link to your page, the more visible you are to Google, and the higher your search ranking will be.  Including your site in the Wales Craft Collective and our associated pages, the easier it is for potential customers to find you!
