still from Blue by Richard Kroehling
Dear Friend of the Art Center,

We are very excited about our two shows in the galleries and hope you will join us Friday evening (Feb 10) from 6 to 8 to see the work and meet the artists.

The Gillette Gallery features sculpture and paintings on paper by David Hayes, a prolific sculptor of the past 50 years. (for more on Hayes see attached article)
In the Balter Gallery we are presenting our first exhibition of Video Art, curated by Greg Slick and featuring 8 artists.
To learn more about Greg and his inspiration for this show take a look at the excellent article by Alison Rooney here Philipstown.info.

We will also present a panel discussion on video art on the last day of the exhibition, Feb. 26 from 3 to 4.
The panel will be led by Greg Slick with 6 of the participating artists as panelists:
Brian Doyle, Brian Stinemetz, Mollie McKinley, Therese McPherson, Athena Torri and Richard Kroehling.
We hope you will join us. The discussion is certain to shed light on the current state of video art.

This exhibition runs through February 26, and our galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

Sincerely,

Carinda Swann
Executive Director
