Ausgrid Update.
Crews have installed the larger generator
at Elvina Bay and are progressively getting the power back to the final
70 affected homes in Elvina Bay and Lovett Bay.
Another generator is
on its way to Morning
Bay, where crews have rearranged the local network to get the power
back
safely to the remaining homes.
Homes currently with
power in Morning
Bay may experience a short five to 10 minute interruption this
afternoon,
as crews work to connect the second generator.
Residents are
reminded that keeping
their energy use down will help ensure the generators work
consistently.
Crews will be on site daily to refuel the generators while repairs to
the
submarine cable take place over the coming weeks.
