PORSCHE 911 2.0 SWB BODY RESTORATION | |
This 1968 Porsche 911 2-litre Short Wheelbase (SWB) underwent a full body restoration at Classic Job. When the owner bought the 911 it looked like a picture because the car had been “restored” in the past. It soon became apparent that the quality of the bodywork was not satisfactory and the car was taken to Classic Job to repair the bodywork. The body proved to be very bad and rusty... After completion of the sheet metal work, the body was given a black KTL coating (primer) in a dip bath. After that, the body was smoothed, primed, and then perfectly painted in the color lemon yellow. Subsequently, the Porsche was rebuilt with the original components that were on the car before the restoration. Wear parts and rubbers have of course been replaced and various components have been renewed, overhauled and refurbished. Here you have an excellent opportunity to study a Porsche 911 F-series SWB body in great detail! More information on the website.
