Classes will be held at Ainslie Arts Centre and provide a wonderful way to connect with our international artists in an up-close setting.

PARKING ON FLEMINGTON ROAD - CHANGES

Due to the construction of the light rail in Canberra, the carpark in Flemington Road is no longer available for general parking. 
 
Canberra Metro has made available to the Festival 60 car spaces that have been designated for Disability Parking only. Patrons wishing to use this carpark must display a Disability Parking Permit. There will be no charge in 2017.
 
ALL general parking for the Festival will be located at Gate 7 on Old Well Station Road off the Federal Highway. Patrons will access the Entertainment Zone via shuttle bus or a dedicated walking path. Parking for the duration of the event is FREE in 2017.
 
Please Note: The loss of this car parking area is outside the NFF's control.
 
ACCESS TO SITE
With the Festival only four weeks away, here are some important reminders. 
 
Access for camping patrons (camp site only) is via Old Well Station Road and open from 9am Monday 10 April.
 
If you have booked a Rent-a-Tent these will be ready from 4pm Wed 12 April.

Please ensure you read ALL the information on your PDF ticket and bring it along with your photo ID to redeem your wristband. 

The Flemington Road Ticket Office is open from 3pm Thurs 13 April. All arrivals prior to this time must be via Gate 7 at Old Well Station Road.
 
PLEASE NOTE: The movement of vehicles on site is strictly limited. Patrons wishing to come and go during the event should park their vehicle in the car park at Gate 7. 
 
 
 
TICKETS
Choose Your Day

Only able to come the the Festival for the day.
It's now easy to make the most of your day at the Nash and ensure you catch all your favourite acts. Our daily Program is now available in grid form to download from our website.
 
 
Great discounted day tickets are now selling at EB3 price and, for as little as $99 (less for youth and child tickets or, if you hold one of our recognised concession cards). The Festival opens daily at 8:30am with activities and concerts on the hour till 2am plus, there are markets, craft activities, food stalls and themed bars and a whole lot more to experience. 
With one ticket access-all-areas that's just $6.60 an hour for a truck load of fun. Don't miss a moment. Just Be There!
 
VOLUNTEER AND BE PART OF THE ACTION
Volunteer at the National Folk Festival. Be part of the team in 2017. 
 
Volunteer Applications for 2017 are NOW OPEN and the Festival is still seeking volunteers for some teams including the Ticket Office, Bar Cashiers, the Gates teams, Raffle Tickets, Venue Management, Waste & Recycling and the Session Bar. 
 
If you love music, want to support folk artists and culture or, you simply want to be surrounded by great people, then please join us. In return for a minimum 20 hours of volunteering you will receive a season camping ticket, access to the Volunteer Centre, and the opportunity to become part of our Festival family.  Apply Now
