Symposia and workshops

Dear , We would like to remind you that during the week of 8-13 April four important symposia and workshops will be organized under auspices of CBS and ISHAM in Utrecht and Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Information and tentative programs can be found on the CBS website here. The following events are planned:

Emerging Zygomycetes, a new problem in the clinical lab.
Tentative program.
Organised by the ECMM/ISHAM Working Group Zygomycetes.
Venue: CBS Auditorium, Uppsalalaan 8, Utrecht.

One Fungus : Which Gene(s) (1F = ?G).
Tentative program.
Organised by the CBS-KNAW Fungal Biodiversity Centre.
Registration: € 250,-- (includes coffee/tea, lunches and cocktail party)
The symposium includes a Meeting of the ISHAM Working Group Nomenclature of Medical Fungi: A showcase of nomenclatural stability after 1F=1N.
Organised by the ISHAM Working Group Nomenclature.
Venue: Trippenhuis, Kloveniersburgwal 29, Amsterdam.

The future of barcoding.
Tentative program.
Organised by the ISHAM Working Group Nomenclature.
Venue: CBS Auditorium, Uppsalalaan 8, Utrecht.

We recommend that you book a hotel near the Utrecht or Amsterdam train stations. you can search for a hotel on Expedia or Booking.com. There are trains between both cities every 15 minutes and the trip takes only 30 minutes. The conference rooms are within easy access of bus stops and train stations.

Registered participants will receive detailed information by the end of March.

The deadline for registration and submission of your abstract is 15 March. You can send your abstract to congress@cbs.knaw.nl
