ROADWORKS ON SCOTLAND ISLAND

Residents are advised that Pittwater Council will be carrying out roadworks on Scotland Island between the dates listed below.

The crews will commence on clearing out blocked stormwater drains and a sub-contractor will be on site to rehabilitate the main road for 200m north and south of the Cargo Wharf intersection. The pavement will be stabilised and flush sealed over a two week period.

Vehicular access will be restricted and any enquiries should be directed to Leon Hansen on 0408 960913. We apologise for any temporary inconvenience and notifications have been placed on the Public Wharves.

• Arrival of plant and material to prepare for major works

Wednesday, August 9 to Friday, August 11
Robertson Road, Cargo to Yamba
• Grade profile and reform drains / stabilise bank at guard rail
Thompson Street, Harold to Cecil
• Reseal to improve drainage / recreate crossfall water bars
Kevin Avenue to Thompson
• Reseal / recreate crossfall water bars
Florence Terrace
• Rectify drainage in 3-4 locations

Tuesday, August 15
Arrival of flush seal material to complete works

Wednesday, August 16
Completion of flush seal and tidy up
