Introductory Workshop on Copyrights and Royalties
Tropicalfete will again sponsor an :What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You for aspiring Caribbean songwriters, producers and artists interested in learning “the business of the business.” The seminar will be led by 40-year industry veteran Roger Meltzer, founding CEO and Director of A&R of the Hartford, CT-based indie Capsicum Records LLC and producer and host of The Capsicum Show, an internationally syndicated weekly reggae radio program which returns to the air in January.
The seminar will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon, November 18, 2017 at Complete Music Studio, 227 St Marks Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. Admission is free. It is the third seminar on this topic Meltzer has led for Tropicalfete

Tropicalfete's Final Event for the year. Our Final Event is set for Brooklyn Music School
Sunday, December 17th at the Brooklyn Music School Playhouse Theatre. Our steel
pan ensemble will be featured along with a Live Band, a choir, our stilts
performers, and various other artists all of which will be taking the stage in
an event we call Tropicalfete’s Countdown, a Free Musical Gift to the
Community. Awards will be given to the students. We will also be honoring
someone in the community with the Tropicalfete Award of Excellence for 2017 for
their contribution to the arts. Stay turn for more info.
