Bro Wyn Harries, JW of Frenni Lodge (left) receives the Travelling Gavel from W Bro David Embra, WM of Tenby Lodge |
The 1st of November 2016 saw the 300th Meeting of Frenni Lodge. This Meeting was celebrated by a reading of the Minutes of the Consecration of the Lodge, 30th May 1972. This was enhanced by W Bro David Elsley illustrating the Consecration procedure for Brethren who had never witnessed one.
The Meeting was further enlivened by the presentation to the Worshipful Master, James Driscoll of the Travelling Gavel by the Junior Warden Bro. Wyn Harries. It had been secured the evening before when Bro. Wyn had coaxed, coerced and committed 11 Brethren to travel to Tenby Lodge to wrest said Gavel from their ‘sunny’ grasp!
