We'll be celebrating with our Stitch Crawl event on June 9th. Woo hoo! More on that soon. Save the date!

While you wait we have a FREE KNITTING PATTERN for the Queen's Corgis to keep you busy.

In London? Our Stitch Ups are still happening every week. Check out meeting dates on our website here.

Jubilee celebration! Free Queen's Corgis knitting pattern

It's the Queen's Jubilee at the beginning of June with all kinds of crazy events going on around the UK. We're celebrating with our Stitch Crawl on June 9th. More on that soon.

In the meantime we're celebrating by giving away a free knitting pattern from the Stitch London book (the most Londony knitting book ever). Fancy stitching up a couple of far-too-cute corgis in honour of the royal revelling?

Here's Stitch London free Corgi pattern just for you:

The Queen's Corgis are a teeny tiny little knit so it's best to make a few of them so the first one doesn't get lonely and start chewing things when you're out. Seriously. They may look small but man, can they chew.

Show off your handmade hound: If you've made a corgi you can upload a picture to Planet Whodunnknit to show it off. We'd love to see them!

Added nice things: All sales of the Stitch London book helps raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.  Warm fuzzy feelings come as standard.

 London Mayor in Stitches

London's Mayor has been chosen. For those of you who might be feeling a bit confused about the outcome, here's a little something to cheer you up. Stitch London Stitch Sage and tiny-person-knitting whiz Heather Brown stitched up for London Mayor candidates for the big event:

Check at the whole story and see more pics over at our friends Londonist. And you can peek at more of Heather's brilliant tiny people knits over on Flickr.

Stitch London will now continue rehatching. Please take all your belongings with you when you leave the newsletter. Unattended items will be eaten by that hungry goat behind you. RUN!

Keep calm and carry yarn, Stitch Londoners.

Stitch London is run by one very busy crafty lady and offers meetings, newsletters, teaching, online info and events for free. All our Stitch Sage teachers at meetings are very generous volunteers. So please be patient if we make mistacks...miSTakes...misteaks...errors.
