Ahead of their North American October and December tour dates, U.K. synthpop quartet Ladytron announce the upcoming release of Far From Home - Night Versions, a remix EP for the single “Far From Home” from their critically acclaimed LP, Ladytron, their first album in eight years. The remix EP will feature reworks by Lucas Frota, Blakkat, Dave the Hustler, Wetworks, plus Hiroko Yamamura and Eric Elvambuena. Dave the Hustler’s remix is being offered as a free download via Bandcamp
and Soundcloud today, August 7 and will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming platforms August 9. With its punched up electro/new wave vibe, this remix should appeal to fans of “Destroy Everything You Touch” while the other remixes will appeal to a broad range of dance music fans. The Blakkat edit of the Lucas Frota remix is a haunting slice of tribal funk full of disembodied voices and intoxicating rhythms. The Lucas Frota remix goes deeper still into tribal funk territory. The punishing Wetworks remix is much darker in tone, with a heavy industrial edge. Chicago heads Hiroko Yamamura and Eric Elvambuena go for a dubbier feel that creates a gothic deep house banger. The Far From Home - Night Versions EP will be out August 30.

Following a string of sold out West Coast shows earlier this year, Ladytron will be hitting the East Coast for the first time in eight years this October with stops in New York, Boston, Montreal, and Toronto. In December, they’ll embark on another set of live shows including Chicago, Seattle, Portland and Berkeley. It will be the latest round of highly anticipated live dates for the group comprised of Helen Marnie, Reuben Wu, Mira Aroyo, and Daniel Hunt. Fans can expect to hear songs from their vast catalog including “Playgirl,” “Seventeen, and ”Ace of Hz” as well as highlights from their critically acclaimed self- titled 2019 LP release.
