Macedonia School of Ministry and Bible Institute, a vision of
Senior Pastor Jason A. Barr, Jr., was established to maximize
efforts to achieve that goal.
Beginning
March 7, 2011
Macedonia School of Ministry and Bible Institute will be offering
classes for all those who are interested in preaching, teaching,
or gaining a better understanding of Biblical principles. All
communities, members and non-members are welcome to learn and
grow in Introduction to Christian Theology – The Trinity
& Christology; Blessed Are You – The Beatitudes; or
How to Study the Bible.

helping students comprehend and apply what they learn so that
they can become true disciples of Christ Jesus.
Discipleship Short Courses
Monday
March 7, 2011 – April 18, 2011
7:00pm – 8:30pm Weekly How to Study the Bible: [Things are
hidden temporarily only as a means to revelation.] For there is
nothing hidden except to be revealed, nor is anything [temporarily]
kept secret except in order that it may be made known. Mark 4:22
(AMP) God wants His people to understand His word. It is the aim
of this course to help every believer make Scripture come alive.
This course has been designed with the beginner in mind, however
it will also be valuable for regular students, teachers, and preachers
of the Word of God. This class is required for all who intend
to register for MIT or TIT.
Tuesday
March 8, 2011 – April 19, 2011
7:00pm – 8:30pm Weekly Blessed Are You…: Jesus Christ
gave us the eight Beatitudes in the Sermon on the Mount, as recorded
in Matthew 5:3-10. This study explores the meaning and Old Testament
roots of the Beatitudes. While the Beatitudes of Jesus provide
a way of life that promises salvation, they also provide peace
in the midst of our trials and tribulations on this earth. By
exploring their contemporary implications, students will discover
fresh understanding and insights to enrich faith.

March 10, 2011 – April 21, 2011
7:00pm – 8:30pm Weekly Introduction to Christian Theology
I: Who is God? Who is Jesus Christ? This part one of four studies
explores The Trinity, the Christian doctrine that teaches the
unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This study will also explore
Christology, the person and work of Jesus Christ. Students will
exam the Old and New Testament texts that teach us the nature
of God and reveal Spiritual truth.
All
required textbooks are available at the Macedonia Book Center.
