Neyland Lodge Social Evening
On 9th November 2013 Worshipful Master of Neyland Lodge, Trevor Byrant, held a social dinner and evening at the Ferry House Inn, Llandstadwell. The event was well supported by members of the Lodge and visiting Brethren together with their ladies. The Lodge was also able to entertain five of the Lodge widows. Although it was meant to be purely a social gathering, thanks to the generosity of members a raffle was held which raised in excess of £500 which is going to be donated to charities local to the Neyland area. The Worshipful Master wishes to thank all those who supported him.

Marvelous Movember Masons
West Wales Freemasons really embraced Movember, a national campaign which encourages men to stop shaving their moustaches for the entire month of November. Movember aims to raise awareness about the dangers of prostate cancer and other health issues which affect men. Dirk den-Hartog, Provincial Information Officer said: "Prostate cancer is a devastating disease which affects one in eight men in the UK in their lifetimes. "It is as prevalent as breast cancer, but lags far behind both in research and awareness. "This is a light-hearted way to put a very serious matter in the spotlight. Not only did we have a lot of fun, but we also raised £3172 plus some gift aid, which I think is absolutely fantastic." he added.
