W Bro Chris Harding presented a cheque for £3240 to Mrs Pat Dixon of Johnston Scout Troop. The money was given by The Provincial Grand Charity of West Wales to enable the troop to complete the flooring in their new hall in Hill Mountain. The hall has been fully refurbished by fund raising by the Scouts and will also be used by the village. The old hall in Johnston was condemned some time ago and it has taken nearly 5 years to get to this point. Pat thanked the West Wales Masons for their support and looked forward to closer links in the future.
