TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index closed 0.58% higher today at 88,774, with Oil Products (+2.96%) leading risers among sectors and posting the highest daily trade volume of IRR 794 billion (approx. USD 19.4 million). The biggest faller of the day was Other Financial Services (-1.31%) with losses across the sector. Stocks making the most impact on the All-Share Index today were led by Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +3.06%), Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.88%) and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA +3.66%). Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.88%) was the most traded stock on the TSE with IRR 516 billion (approx. USD 12.6 million) of shares exchanged. Total traded value of the market surged 204% from yesterday, reaching IRR 4,442 billion (approx. USD 109 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization increased 1.13% to close at 3,710. The total traded value of the top 30s reached IRR 1170 billion (approx. USD 28.6 million), up 144% from yesterday, mostly due to higher trading volumes in Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +3.06%) and Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES +4.88%) which was also the biggest riser among the TSE30 shares. The weakest share of the index was SAIPA Group (SIPA -1.67%). |
