AL'S BIRTHDAY BASH! - Next week, Saturday, May 12, at 6685 Limekiln Rd., Slatington, PA. Kegs of beer and plenty of food. Covered dishes welcome. Camping available. Free to the public. All weather event. Music starts at 1:30 with The Mighty Manatees, followed by the Karmic Repair Co. Follow signs when you get to Limekiln Road. Al will be turning 60 years old. Gifts optional. MY MOTHER, THE CANADIAN - On Friday, May 18, my 87 year old mother will be attending our show at Hotel Fiesole in Skippack, PA. She is flying down from Winnipeg to celebrate Mother's Day. C'mon out and say hello to my mom. Also attending this show will be the Montgomery County LBGT Business Council as well as several local political candidates. BOB DYLAN'S BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE - This year Mystic Vagabond Productions presents it's 3rd Annual Bob Dylan Birthday Tribute at The Rising Sun Barn in Telford, PA. This will take place on Bob Dylan's birthday, Thursday, May 24. Musical guests will take part in a 3 one hour sets. The show begins with an acoustic folk set, followed by a country/folk-rock set, and concludes with a blues/rock n' roll set. Sound & recording by Mike Lightkep. Showtime is 7 - 11. Join us for an evening to honor our greatest living songwriter. Special thanks to Slacker and Fred. btw while at Rising Sun, check out Fred's herd of buffalo out in the back field.
THE MIGHTY MIKE G. AT COUNTRY CREEK WINERY - Two days later, The Mighty Manatees will return to Telford, PA, to team up with the mighty Mike Greer on Saturday, May 26, at The Country Creek Winery.
