Over 200 bird species have been to Patterson Park! Now students can join Audubon as citizen scientists! A teen expert will lead us as we collect data on urban bird species and share our findings with the greater scientific community. No experience necessary. Sunday, January 29, 11:00am Leader: Tim Houghton, Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge Take a trip with Tim to the Blackwater NWR on the eastern shore. You will search for Tundra Swans, Snow Geese, Brown-headed Nuthatches, wintering ducks, and other avian treasures. Join Ruth and Tim for dinner after the trip to compare birds lists and tally the results.
