J-HI'S BIRTHDAY! - Also true! Mighty Manatees drummer/vocalist (and Grammy award winner) Jim Hines is having his birthday next week and we'll be celebrating it with him on Friday, March 16, at Hotel Fiesole in Skippack, PA. Showtime 8:00 - 12:00. Gifts optimal. He's a Jimmy good fellow, which nobody can deny.
SAINT PATRICK'S DAY DOUBLE BILL! - This year we will be getting our Irish up at the Rising Sun Barn in Telford, PA on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17. We will be sharing the bill with Si Senorita. Showtime is 7:00 - 11:00. The Mighty Manatees go on from 7:00 - 8:00, Si Senorita go on from 8:30 - 9:30, and then the 2 bands combine for the final set 10:00 - 11:00. Erin Go Braugh!
IRISH FUN FACT - My grandmother was from Ireland. She spoke with an Irish brogue and lived to be 105 years old! It's true!
