Fantastic roads, great scenery, delightful food and friendly people... All enriched by the feel, smells and sounds of the accompanying 1968 Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupé. Today I present 14 wonderful newly arrived classic and sports cars of British, Italian and American origin and a gorgeous vintage Velocette Motorcycle. PORSCHE 911 RESTORATION & OVERHAUL AT CLASSIC JOB | |
The Porsche 911 ST is one of the rarest Porsche 911's; only 24 examples were built in 1970 and 1971. The 911 ST-race cars were successfully entered for endurance races around the globe and in the legendary 24 hours race of Le Mans. The presented Porsche 911 2.4 was extensively restored and overhauled and optically modified to Porsche 911 ST-specifications. During the body restoration the front and rear wings were widened and shaped to ST form. A special 'duck-tail' bonnet was fitted as were special bumpers. The interior was upholstered to customer wishes. The 2.4 litre flat-six engine was overhauled as were the other mechanical components. The car was painted 'Minardi' yellow and fitted with beautiful wide replica Fuchs wheels. The end rusult is stunning and the car drives and sounds fantastic!

FACEL VEGA HK-500 RESTORATION AT AFH | |
This fabulous Facel Vega HK-500 is being restored to top condition by Amicale Facel Holland. The automobile was stored in pieces for many years. Even the bodywork was taken apart; The front end, the rear end, and the roof arrived in our workshop as a big puzzle and the floor was missing. The very rusty chassis will be restored later, for now it is used to reconstruct the bodywork with the correct dimensions and fit. The sheet metal work was completed successfully. Study the photo report of this very extensive body resotration!

VELOCETTE VENOM THRUXTON 500 CC, 1963 | |
Velocette Venom Thruxton 500cc, year 1963. Velocette is one of the legendary British motorcycle marques. Velocette have won many victories in the history of motor racing and the machines were highly successful in the thrilling ‘Manx’ TT races on the Isle of Man. The Venom Thruxton is one of their last designs. The Venom Thruxton features a powerful single cylinder 500 cc four stroke engine with overhead valves. This Velocette Venom motorcycle was fully restored, overhauled and rebuilt to Thruxton specifications and to the highest standards. This rare Velocette Venom Thruxton looks a picture, and it will be an eye catcher on every historic motorcycle meeting. These Velocette motorcycles are very hard to find, a true collector’s item! ALFA ROMEO 2000 TOURING SPIDER, 1962 | |
Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider, year 1962. Colour red combined with a black leather interior trimmed with black carpet. Black mohair soft-top and a black vinyl hood cover. This wonderful Carrozzeria Touring designed Alfa Romeo was sold new in London (UK). The original British registration 696 HYW is still present on this left-hand drive car. This splendid Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider was extensively restored and overhauled in Belgium about 10 years ago. The body was restored from the bare metal. The interior was newly upholstered, the mechanicals were overhauled, chrome re-chromed, and a new wiring loom was fitted. A photo report of the restoration is present. MASERATI GHIBLI, 1970 | |
Maserati Ghibli, year 1970. Colour dark blue metallic exterior combined with a black leather interior and black carpet. This fantastic Maserati Ghibli is a ‘matching numbers’ car, a factory document to confirm this is present. This wonderful sports car was wonderfully restored over the last years. In the period 2011 – 2012 the car was dismantled, and the bodywork was restored from the bare metal. The body shows a wonderful panel fit, fantastic paintwork and superb brightwork. At the same time the drivetrain, suspension and brakes were overhauled. In 2011 part of the 4,7 Litre V8 engine was overhauled, in 2019 the engine was removed and extensively overhauled and rebuilt professionally. The engine bay was given new paint and the four twin-choke Weber carburettors were cleaned and overhauled. AUSTIN HEALEY 100/4 BN1, 1955 | |
Austin Healey 100/4 BN1, year 1955. Colour Spruce Green combined with a Suede Green leather interior. Suede green vinyl soft-top and side screens. This gorgeous and matching numbers Austin Healey 100 “FOUR” was extensively and professionally restored and overhauled to perfection. The work was carried out to the original factory specifications. Since completion of the restoration the car has driven only 1000 miles. This fantastic Austin Healey 100/4 is in immaculate concours condition! The 100/4 BN1 is the first model of the legendary Austin Healey series. The 100 is fitted with a powerful four-cylinder engine (hence the 4 / four in the name) and the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a three-speed gearbox with overdrive on 2nd and 3rd gear. This is a freshly restored top class example for the discerning enthusiast / collector!

FORD THUNDERBIRD 289 V8, 1955

Ford Thunderbird, year 1955. Colour yellow combined with a two tone (yellow / black) leathercloth interior, black carpet and a black soft-top. The legendary Ford Thunderbird was introduced in the year 1955. With 16.000 sold examples in the first year the Thunderbird outsold the Chevrolet Corvette comfortably. The presented Ford Thunderbird was extensively and body off restored in the past (chassis, body, interior, suspension and mechanical components) and the original 6 Volt electrics were converted to 12 Volts. The automobile is in a wonderful and particularly good condition with slight traces of use. The car shows all the special original details and badges which are in perfect shape. The Ford Thunderbird features a 292 cu (4785 cc) V8 engine mated to an automatic gearbox. The engine runs like new and the automatic gearbox shifts perfectly. This Thunderbird features a power adjustable seat, an original 6 Volts AM radio (currently not connected to the 12 Volt system) and white side-wall tyres. This is one of the legendary American Classics!

MORGAN +8, 1997 | |
Morgan +8, year 1997. Colour dark grey combined with a dark red (burgundy) leather interior and dark red weather equipment (soft-top, tonneau-cover, spare tyre cover). This magnificent Morgan +8 was sold new to Germany. The automobile was imported to the Netherlands in the year 2003. The Morgen has known one Dutch owner ever since, and the car has driven 80.000 kilometres from new. This impressive Morgan +8 is in excellent original condition with only slight signs of use. The (service) history is well documented. This very desirable Morgan +8 features the renowned Rover 3.9 Litre V8 engine with petrol injection and a 5-speed manually operated gearbox. This gorgeous Morgan +8 is fitted with many special options like: a tonneau-cover, luggage rack, Librands exhaust system, Panhard rod (extra rod to locate the rear axle), Koni shock absorbers, grille mesh, high capacity radiator, leather belt over the bonnet, sundry Stainless Steel fixings, steering lock and chrome rear light housings. Furthermore, the car is fitted with wonderful original 15-inch Morgan alloy wheels shod with 205-60 Dunlop tyres. This is an excellent example of the legendary Morgan +8!

TRIUMPH TR 3B, 1963 | |
Triumph TR 3B, year 1963. Colour Primrose yellow combined with a black leather interior trimmed with white piping and black carpet. Black soft-top, tonneau-cover and side screens (all never used). This gorgeous and rare Triumph TR 3B (blue plate car from California) was just finished after a full ‘body off’ restoration! Everything was restored, overhauled and or renewed and the result breathes sheer quality. A complete photo report of the restoration is present including photos of the car before it was restored. This exceptionally fine specimen is in concours condition! The bodywork shows a superb panel fit, the car shows all the original details, and the underside is as beautiful as the rest of the car. The Triumph TR 3B is a rare Triumph. The ‘B’ was introduced shortly before the TR 4 entered the market. The ‘B’ is fitted with the more powerful Triumph TR 4 engine! This wonderful TR 3B features overdrive, 15” chrome wire wheels, a MotoLita steering wheel with wood rim and a Stainless-Steel exhaust. This Triumph TR 3B is a TOP specimen!

MORRIS MINI COOPER 1000 MKI, 1962 | |
Morris Mini Cooper 1000 Mk I, year 1962. Colour crème white combined with a black roof top. Matching numbers and colours, a Heritage document is present to confirm this. This gorgeous Mini Cooper 1000 was sold new in Sweden, the original Swedish documents are still present as are all the original booklets and brochure! This early Mini Cooper 1000 was recently acquired from the first owner. The car is in an exceptionally good and super original condition! The bodywork was repainted in the past; all the original spot-welds are still visible and the panel fit is excellent. The interior is fully original showing all the original details and slight traces of use and age. This fantastic Mini Cooper has driven only 34.000 kilometres from new and the ‘under bonnet appearance’ beautifully clean. This rare Mini Cooper Mk I is fitted with the original 10 inch disc wheels fitted with hub caps and 145/80 Falken tyres and original BMC mud-flaps at the rear. This is a very hard to find super original Morris Mini Cooper 1000 Mk I for the true enthusiast / collector!

TRIUMPH TR 3B, 1962 | |
Triumph TR 3B, year 1962. Colour Triumph Racing Green combined with a red leathercloth interior and red carpet. Black vinyl soft top, side screens and hood cover. This fantastic and rare Triumph TR 3B was imported from Indiana USA to the Netherlands in the year 1993. In 1995 the car was road registered. In the late 1990s the automobile was extensively and ‘body off’ restored by a marque specialist. A comprehensive photo report of the restoration is present. Since the year 1993 the car has known only two owners. The second owner has cherished the car since 2014. The car was serviced punctually over the years, invoices are present to confirm this. This rare Triumph TR 3B is in excellent condition and the car drives perfectly. The TR 3B is a rare Triumph. The car was introduced shortly before the TR 4 entered the market. The TR 3B features the more powerful TR 4 engine! The car is fitted with silver painted wire wheels shod with Michelin XZX 165/15 tyres. This is a highly desirable example showing off a fantastic classic colour scheme!
