Each time I think of how to describe this project, "raw" is the only word that hits the nail on the head. This batch of songs, written over the past 3 years, explores the affect our personal relationships have on us and how that in turn alters, enhances, and influences how we move through the world, respond to injustice, and relate to others. It's a political album that has nothing to do with politics! And it's a completely different sound! Big and bold, lush and vibrant. Very rhythm-heavy and full of movement.
Expect drums, bass, horns, rhodes, and cello.
Those will be the core...but I am so eager to get into the studio and explore the possibilities!

With the exception of a very few dates, I will be spending most of this summer outside making melodies for you all! So ecstatic to be doing more traveling with Jason and Ryan over the next few months! Trust me...everything comes alive with the upright bass and full drum kit! Save these dates!!!
