On Saturday October 6th, at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, local labor, elected, civic and faith leaders will join with The Reverend Al Sharpton, one of America's most-renowned civil rights leaders to celebrate the Commonwealth Court's decision and raise awareness about voting rights, election protection and the importance of participation in the November 6th General Election. This non-partisan rally is being hosted by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the A. Philip Randolph Institute in partnership with the United Steelworkers, The NAACP and the Communication Workers of America.
