Ce Dimanche, La Beqaa nous invitera au grand air sur la section 24 du LMT!
Rendez-vous à Kawkaba bou Arab au pied de la tombe de Sheikh el Fadel (XIIIe siècle) pour une randonnée aux couleurs printanières. Nos pas nous conduirons vers la source de Ain el Laboueh en passant par un pont pittoresque construit par les Français. Toujours sur notre route, nous admirerons « Chajaret el Tamanni » (l’arbre des souhaits ) qui nous conviera à déposer nos vœux au creux de son vieux tronc. Poursuivant notre chemin, nous mettrons enfin le cap vers le charmant village de Rachaya : une visite guidée nous emportera au cœur de notre patrimoine.
Pour couronner la journée, aucun repas de roi ne saurai rivaliser face au déjeuner champêtre « Rachaya style » préparé in situ par les dames du village.
Cette rando fait partie d'une série d'évements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

Dear friends,
This Sunday, the Beqaa valley will host us to the great outdoors on section 24 of the LMT!
We will begin Kawkaba bou Arab at the foot of the tomb of Sheikh el Fadel (13th century) for a hike in spring colors. Our footsteps will lead to the source of Ain el Laboueh passing by a picturesque bridge built by the French. Always on our way, we will admire "Chajaret el Tamanni" (tree of wishes) which will invite us to deposit our vows in the hollow of its old trunk. Continuing our journey, we will finally head towards the charming village of Rachaya: a guided tour will take us to the heart of our heritage.
To crown the day, no king's meal can compete against the country lunch "Rachaya style" prepared in situ by the ladies of the village.

Hiking shoes, back pack,water, sunglasses, sun screen, cap, fleece, wind breaker .
Cost: 60$ (90.000LL) covering guides, transportation , insurance, entrance to Rachaya citadel and lunch. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Meeting: at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
