TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.73% at 238,220. Telecommunication (+4.35%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Utility Service Providers (-3.80%). Chemicals (+3.63%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 2,322 billion (approx. USD 55 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ +4.96%) Mobile Telecommunication Co. of Iran (+4.43%) and Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem. Ind. Co. (TAPP +4.37%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Mellat Bank (BMLT +2.05%) was the most traded stock with IRR 568 billion (approx. USD 13 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 18,826 billon (approx. USD 448 million), up 4% from the previous trading session.
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 10,816 for a gain of 2.03%. The biggest riser was Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ +4.96%) while Fajr Petrochemical Co. (BFJR -5.24%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 5,413 billion (approx. USD 128 million). |
