Take part in a traveling art exhibition at COP29 addressing global inequality and the need for redistribution. The exhibition is fully financed and guarantees to attract attention. Exhibtion time ranges from single events to several days.
Dear Participant at COP29,
My name is Jens Galschiøt, and I am an artist with extensive experience exhibiting climate sculptures at global climate summits (see Media Coverage
COP15 -
COP21 -
COP23).
Survival of the Fattest (COP15) - the Polar Bear Army (COP21-23) - Freedom to Pollute (COP15-23, Rio+20) - Unbearable (COP21-23)
For COP29, I am bringing the sculpture Survival of the Fattest, which highlights the need for climate justice and resource redistribution. The sculpture is made of bronze. It stands 150 cm tall, and rests on a 50x50 cm base. I am bringing three versions of the sculpture. Practical details bellow.
Take Part. The sculptures are easily moved around and installed by my artist group which includes five accredited participants, aiming to use the sculptures to focus attention on climate justice.
The project is fully funded, so all you need to do is specify where and when you would like to display a sculpture (subject to availability, so act quickly!).
Who We Are and What We Aim to Achieve? The project aims to raise awareness about climate justice and the need for resource redistribution. It is a collaboration between artist Jens Galschiøt and the NGO CARE Denmark, with support from Danish climate ministers Dan Jørgensen (former minister) and Lars Aagaard (current minister). The project is non-profit.
I hope you’ll take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Best regards,
Jens Galschiøt
