Library Minyan Mishnah Study Returns!
Since the early 1980s the Library Minyan has had a Mishnah Study group that meets before Shabbat Shacharit services. During part of the time that we were “wandering” while the Rena E. Ganzberg Educational Center was being built and a few other times there were brief breaks. Now, with the pandemic we’re experiencing we have again been on break. Starting this Shabbat morning we are going to try to reconstitute our learning community using Zoom. We’ll be picking up where we left off with Shavuot (Vows), Chapter 7 Mishnah 5. As always there is no need to be fluent in Hebrew or Aramaic to participate.

Please join us this Shabbat starting at 9:30am.

A Few Words About Divrei Torah
In late March it was apparent that we would not be in shul together for some time. Accordingly, Rachel and I invited those Darshanim who had already been scheduled to present their Dvar Torah through April electronically. They were posted on the Library Minyan website by Bob Roosth (webmaster@libraryminyan.org) and on Facebook and Youtube by Marisa Holt (communications@libraryminyan.org).

Please view Rabbi Gordon Bernat-Kunin’s (Vayikrah) and Bob Braun’s (8th Day Passover) contributions at libraryminyan.org/divrei-torah/5780-2/.

We want to continue our tradition of teaching by members of our Minyan.  We invite you to share a drash with the Library Minyan via video, audio, or in writing.  Please write to us with any questions you might have.

Shabbat Shalom,
Zwi Reznik and Rachel Rubin Green

Library Minyan at Home Shabbat Davening Schedule
Rabbi Jonathan Sacks has made an important point about the need to daven at the same time as the community, even if one is davening alone. We include a Shabbat Davening Schedule that you can follow at home.
