Index added 0.05% to close at 81,696. Sectors put in a mixed performance with
Paper Products (+1.22%) leading gainers. Transportation & Logistics
(-2.12%) was the biggest loser of the day with all constituents losing ground.
The most traded sector was Chemicals (+0.23%) with IRR 181 billion (approx.
USD 4.7 million) of shares exchanged. Today the companies making the largest
impact on the All-Share Index were Iran Aluminum Co. (ALIR +168.48%),
Informatics Services Inc. (INFO -3.32%) and Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD
-1.22%). Iran Tractor Forging Co. (ATIR +2.26%) recorded the highest trade
volume, with IRR 68 billion (approx. USD 1.8 million) of shares traded. The
TSE’s total traded value reached IRR 1,395 billion (approx. USD 37 million),
up 21% from the previous trading session.

The
TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization lost
0.04% to close at 3,283, with Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (KSHJ
-2.10%) leading losers and Tehran Oil Refining Co. (PTEH +1.99%) gaining the
most. The total traded value of the top 30s lost 28% to IRR 229 billion
(approx. USD 6 million).

Iran
Aluminum Co.'s ticker reopened on the TSE today after an absence of 22 months
imposed by the market regulator. Retained losses had exceeded its capital
following a plunge in aluminum prices. To avoid bankruptcy, the company went
through a revaluation of its assets which led to a capital increase of 755%
to IRR 5,197 billion (approx. USD 136 million). With the implementation of
the newly registered capital, Iran Aluminum Co. returned to trading today
and found investors’ favor. The current uptrend in aluminum prices has
improved the company's outlook.
