Lesley Birch Spring News 2017
Hello Everyone,

It's Spring at last and after a really bad bout of flu over the Winter, I'm gratefully back to my life painting, exhibiting, travelling, sketching and the like.  The days are getting lighter and so I took off for a weekend in Sandsend and spent time walking, reading and sketching the Yorkshire Coastline - always so much inspiration. You can catch my thoughts on this on my BLOG ...

I have some exciting exhibitions in the pipeline ....  ... plus my new studio space will be open in April for you to come and visit.  I've been lucky enough to have my work selected for Heal's in London's Tottenham Court Road -  which is very exciting.

I just want to extend big thanks to you all for supporting me in my work - showing me in galleries and those who have my paintings hanging on your walls.  I really appreciate it.

Yours aye,  Lesley

In January I moved studios to a permanent place in the centre of York.  We're called Pica Studios and it's a supportive, friendly environment for me and my work -- so very happy indeed.

WHY PICA?
The first printed book in York was in 1510 and was called The Pica. We're housed in an old printworks building and so we decided Pica was the perfect name for our studios. Find out more about the history of The Pica HERE
