The Mighty Manatees cordially invite all their mighty fanatees to a new CD release party at Puck in Doylestown, PA, on Thursday, March 19. This latest CD was recorded live by Mike Lightkep at Puck when we debuted there last September as part of our producer David Ivory's "Thursday @ Puck" series. Also featured in this compilation are Dakota Jay, Flux Capacitor, Spin, and Jon DeLise. This upcoming March show stars Billy Fries (8:00) and Robbie Dickenson (9:00) (Robbie also plays the guitar left-handed and upside-down). The new CD can be purchased at the show and on-line at www.IvoryProductions.com. All proceeds are going to the Philabundance charity organization www.Philabundance.org. Mighty Manatees showtime is 10:00.
Manatees Fun Fact: Did you know that at our recent show at Big Head's, we were introduced to a survivor of the NYC Hudson River plane landing? It's true! His name is Steve and it turns out he is a drum student of Manatees drummer Myles Rothwell. I know, right?
And speaking of Big Head's...we will be playing there on St. Patrick's Day, Tuesday, March 17. Showtime is 5:00pm. We'll be playing our 20-minute version of "The Unicorn". Bring some greenage!
