UPDATE
ROAD CLOSURE – LOCATION 61 ROBERTSON ROAD, CLOSE TO CATHERINE PARK STEPS
Ausgrid staff, the
tree lopper and crane operator all met this afternoon on site. It
is a very difficult job and also weather dependent.
Ausgrid have advised
that there will be a power outage this Monday, April 13 from 10am until
approx. 5pm during the time that the high voltage wiring is taken
down. Telstra has also be called in to remove their connections
to the poles and will be on site around 9am on Monday.
Some properties near the site with individual power pole connections
will be without power overnight. These residents have been
advised individually.
A media release with more detail from Ausgrid will be sent out as soon
as it is received.
The area remains
closed as a safety precaution until work been completed so please use
an alternative access route.
