PUBLIC NOTICE OF TOWN COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 19TH, @ 7:00 P.M.

Public notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Huntsville, Utah, Weber County, will hold a Public Hearing on January 19th, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Huntsville Town Hall located at 7309 E. 200 S., to receive public comment prior to consideration and approval of elective officers (specifically for the Mayoral position) of Huntsville Town to receive such compensation for their service as the governing body, as outlined in Utah Code 10-3-818: “Salaries in Municipalities”.

Suicide Prevention Meeting Scheduled:

QPR TRAINING  (Question, Persuade, Refer)

There will be a presentation on February 23rd @ 7:00 pm at the Ogden Valley Library, from the Weber County Sheriff’s Department with cooperation with Huntsville Town on QPR for Suicide Prevention and Awareness Training. We are reaching out to all that will help make a difference in their communities. With the high number of suicides in our community we need to learn how to help and save a life. The QPR presentation is not a form of counseling or treatment. Rather it is intended to offer hope through positive action. By learning QPR, you will come to recognize the warning signs, clues and suicidal communications of people in trouble, and gain skills to act vigorously to prevent a possible tragedy. Please plan on joining all of us, to help understand, and recognize sings, so we may help save lives.
