May Day! May Day!
This isn't a distress call, but it is a big shout-out to let you know that it's finally May! And that means summer, and that means the Summer of Love. And that, of course, means the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, and we've got it covered, FOOT!-style.
We are proud to officially introduce our extended Flashback tour of the Haight-Ashbury: What a Long Strange Trip It's Been. It's a three-hour trip through the Summer of Love, and covers everything you need to know about that psychedelic summer, including sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll, man. You'll also get some bonus stop at a pub to cool you down, and learn about some forgotten heroes of 1967. Plus Victorian architecture, the history of the Haight, and the psychedelic poster art that accompanied the San Francisco music scene . . . and a whole lot more.
All month long, you can get discounted Long Strange Trip tours
. Learn about one of the most colorful and influential eras in American history. It's a trip you don't want to miss. Usually $67 per couple (get it? It's the summer of 1967), this Long Strange Trip is just $57 per couple while supplies last.
Proceeds from our Tour of the Month
will go to the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition
, a local nonprofit that wants you to get off your gas and get around using your feet. And so do we! Did you know that May is Bike Month in San Francisco
