Dear Get Out The Wild Voter:

Thank you for becoming an informed voter and for requesting information about the Native Plant Conservation Campaign.

The NPCC is a national network of native plant societies, botanic gardens and other plant conservation organizations. The mission of the Native Plant Conservation Campaign is to promote the conservation of native plants and their habitats through collaboration, research, education, and advocacy. We have been in existence since 2002 and now have 57 Affiliate groups representing more than 350,000 native plant enthusiasts across the U.S.

We work to improve collaboration and cooperation among native plant groups and to build a strong national voice for plant conservation. We also seek to improve state and federal legal protections for imperiled plants, increase staffing and funding for plant science and conservation, and to inform the public and decision makers about the importance of conserving native plant diversity.

Our 2019 Plant Conservation Year in Review provides an introduction and overview of what the NPCC is all about. 2019 was an exciting and productive year in native plant conservation in the U.S. The review contains project, program and publication descriptions from plant groups around the country, links to additional information, and contact information for Affiliate organizations. Please take a look!

We hope you find ideas, inspiration, hope and community in the NPCC! Thank you again for your interest.

This is the most important election in history. So ask your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors to become Get Out The Wild Voters as well!
