January 2013
Simple. Organized. Life-Changing.
Forte Organizers helps individuals and families stay organized at home, as well as teaching business people organization skills at work.
In the news...

Lori’s Dayton Daily News column has recently been moved to the front page of the Life section.

The first article Gift of Time Truly Valued was written with the holidays in mind, but can be applied to any gift-giving occasion.

If one of your New Year’s resolutions is to get more organized her second article Free Items Have a Cost will help you reach that goal.

January is National Get Organized Month...

January is the perfect month to start organizing your home. Keep only the items you love and it will help you reach your 2013 goals. Make a list of the rooms in your home and categorize them by which ones should be organized first and which ones can wait until later. Now tackle the first room on your list. Don’t skip a thing… touch everything and keep only those items you have deemed necessary. Do not move to another room until the first room has been organized. Continue this process in every room. When you are done you will know what you own and where to find it. Being organized makes life easier. You find things faster eliminating the frustration you feel when things are lost.

Start A Rumor...

Many times when I have helped someone organize their office they report back to me that their coworkers start secretly asking others if they are leaving. Since moving is one of the few times people actually clean their office their suspicion can be understood. If your office is messy and looks like you’re not in control why not start a rumor? Don’t wait until you are moving to organize your office.

Tax Note...

To my past business clients:

If I helped you get organized in your work life, even for your home office, often you can deduct my services on your taxes. Refer to your accountant with questions on how to take advantage of this deduction.

I wish you all much success in 2013.
