IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-Mid year testing will be taking place for the next two weeks at Daisy Brook. Students will take the MAP Reading test next week and Math the following week. Additionally, teachers will be conducting some assessments within the classroom. These results will be shared with you at parent teacher conferences in February. We are very excited to see the growth our students have made!
-As part of our CATCH Program at Daisy Brook we want to create a bulletin board of “healthy choice photos” of our active Daisy Brook students!
What to do:
If you or your family are outside being active (sledding, building a snowman, walking the dog...) or choosing a healthy “GO” food at home, take a selfie, or have someone else take a photo and email it to your teacher. Another option would be to print it out on regular paper (it doesn’t have to be an actual photograph!) Please have photos submitted by January 29.
To celebrate our activities, we will display the photos for the whole school to see on one of our hallway walls near the gym! We are looking forward to seeing you in the “health zone!”
CELEBRATIONS
-Our kids came back ready to learn and knock it out the park in 2021! We have had a wonderful first week back from break. I hope that you and your family had an opportunity to rest and relax during the holiday season.
