So... It's nice to see things looking a bit more like normal again right? I'm starting to think we might actually get to take our vacation (out West) in September & that the the International Quilt Market & Festival in Houston might actually happen in October. But meanwhile I'm hard at work on our next pattern which I hope to release in mid-to-late August. You can find out more about it in the Blog posts detailed later in this post, but meanwhile I better get back to it and I hope you enjoy this month's edition!

 Sarah Rasmussen is back with another picture purrfect Sling Along. This Star Wars-themed bag is a true showstopper! Afterall, its got EVERYTHING… exquisite fussy cutting. beautiful colorations & impeccable stitching!

 When Dale Whyte posted this picture of her new Gemini FlightBag I fell in love with it! These “southwest” fabrics are amazing and
Dale sure combined them beautifully!

 And who else is brave enough to use leather in the course of sewing up our bag patterns? None other than Don Distler of course & he makes it look SO EASY! This is an amazing Sling Along for sure & Don even does all of his own embroidery as well!

 And finally, here’s Cora Bray‘s very first Gemini FlightBag. She says she going to take this beauty on a vacation with her very soon! It looks like the perfect travel bag to me!

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought sewing and craft and their
practical uses into the news. Some sewing machine manufacturers saw a shortage as both big-box retailers and small shops experienced a pandemic sewing rush.
Many sewists and crafters dusted off their sewing machines or purchased new ones to begin sewing masks, whether for personal use, for front-line workers or for sale. Some fashion designers and large brands also ramped up mask production. {Click HERE to read more.}
