"Kat Bytes"
the monthly newsletter of StudioKat Designs
Issue #166 -May 2019 |
SO...you've probably noticed that our newsletter is late this month, (over a week to be exact). First off- I don't like being out of town when a newsletter drops and we were on a much needed vacation last week during its normal timeslot. BUT-- the most important reason the newsletter is late is because the delay made for a convenient time for us to release our new pattern, the Bangle Buddie !
So if you're thinking that TODAY is release day you're RIGHT, and there's a nifty discount offer to go along with it too, but in your haste to place your order, please don't forget to check out the rest of the newsletter because there's a lot of fun stuff there too!

And Shannon Maciejewski said she’s been carrying a Wrapsody ever since it was a brand new pattern and WOW! That’s like since 2014! I guess that makes it her “bag of choice”!
Elaine Forbes said she made this “southwest-flavored” Sling Along for her granddaughter! Lucky girl! |
So Debbie Stubbs said she learned a whole lot in the process of making this Sling Along and gives bigtime props to all the good folks in our FaceBook group page for all the encouragement they provided.
Jane Cruz really enjoyed making her Sling Along saying that the directions were easy-to-follow. She did a fantastic job
and I love how our polkadot zippers finish off the look she created!
And here’s a fun thing! Lynn Kahn learned how to make glass beads and actually made the ones you can see on the right side of this Boho Baguette!
And how about this? Patti Foley made this Sling Along for her son to carry as a diaper bag when his baby girl is born later this year!
Linda Michael says she loves this pattern and made this Sling Along for herself for a sister trip she has planned over spring break to
Universal Orlando’s Harry Potter World. She added lots of extra
pockets/card slots – including, of course, a wand pocket!
Joan McBain said she truly enjoyed making this Baggalista.
She used her ice-dyed fabrics for the front & the back of this
beauty! Judy added that this bag will be perfect to take on her trip to
S. Africa!
Joan McBain considers herself a bigtime organizer so of course she fell in love with the Porta-PocketsPLUS purse insert pattern and can’t wait to put them to use. The only sad
thing is that no one will see these cuties when they’re hard at work
INSIDE Joan’s bag!
And last but not least, here’s Celia Anne Oliver‘s latest Bellagio Bag. She said that this one’s going to be awfully hard to let go since this color combination is a personal favorite for her!
