Dear Friends,
Happy Fall to you! Wow, I haven't sent one of these since June. So much has happened and, in some ways, not much atall. Hmmm, I went canoeing for the first time, went to the beach, beat my bandmates at Settlers of Catan, started wearing hats, killed everything in my garden except the tomatoes, made pesto for the first time, caught up on season 3 of Once Upon a Time, and went to the zoo!!!
NEW WEBSITE
With new seasons come new things, and since I'm someone who really enjoys change, I figured I would revamp the website and kick off fall with a fresh look. And it's mobile friendly!!!! I know, I know, took me long enough but I've officially entered the 21st century! OLD SONG, NEW VIDEO
 The highlight of my summer was attending Escape to the Lake - a 5-day music retreat and festival of sorts in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Hanging out with fellow artists and music fans by the lake is my new favorite passtime! It was a time of rejuvination, reconnection, and a ridiculous amount of amazing music! I also met and led a writing workshop with Sara Groves - the one musician and artist who has had the greatest impact on my life as an songwriter. #nbd! Anyhow, here is a video from my live performance featuring my sister, Peace, on percussion, harmonies, and beatboxing :) Watch!
