Isaiah 6:3 Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM ISAIAH'S VISION?

We are reminded that the whole earth is full of His glory.
We certainly see God's glorious attributes in the creation around us. We see God's power a summer thunderstorm. We see God's wisdom in the seeds we have planted which now spring from the earth as green shoots and plants. We see God's goodness in the fact that He sends rain and sun upon both believers and unbelievers, and provides for all living things.

God's Glory is above all revealed to us earthbound beings in His Word.
In fact, the ultimate expression of God's Glory was once revealed when the Son of God, equal with the Father and the Spirit, humbled Himself and took up human flesh and blood to win salvation for humankind. He did so in order to secure our eternal salvation, that we might by faith see His Heavenly Glory and dwell in His presence when these temporary earthly lives end.

We learn from Isaiah's Vision that our God is Holy, and in that respect nothing like us. He is Triune. He is the highest power and authority. Yet He condescends to show us His Glory in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:5-6) and to promise us a place in His presence through Jesus' blood and merit.

Praise be to our God!
