Storyvault Films are currently working on a new art series for a major broadcaster that will centre around portrait painting. Filming for the series will take place this summer in eight cities around the UK and Ireland, ready for broadcast in the Autumn. The key element to the series is a competition for portrait painters in each city, along with a grand final. The competition is open to absolutely all artists, from the well-established to emerging talent to hobbyists. Each artist will apply to the city nearest their home and a group of artists will then be selected to take part in the competition within that city.
