The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down -0.98% at 1,193,977. Information Services(+0.65%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest drop of the day was for Transportation (-5.74%). Banking (-1.49%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 2,783 billion (approx. USD 11 million).National Iranian Copper Industries Co. (MSMI1 -1.97%) Esfahan's Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD1 -1.94%) and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Ind. (PKLJ1 -1.81%) were the the main movers of the All-Share Index. BoualiSina Petro. (BONA1 -1.38%) was the most traded stock with IRR146 billion (approx. USD00.6million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 68,425 billion (approx. USD 268 million) down -1.03% from the previous trading session. |
Iran’s steel ingot output reached 18.75 million tons during the past ten months ending on February 19 and increased by 7 percent compared to last year's corresponding period. This was according to the latest data released by Iran's Steel Producers Association.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines ranks 15th in Alphaliner's rankings of prominent carriers in its February 16, 2021 report, with a consolidated capacity of 151,706 TEUs.(Tehran Times)
