FREE CONCERT IN THE PARK THIS THURSDAY - Free CDs and refreshments, too! This Thursday, July 21st, starting at 7:00 PM, Jim Cavanaugh, Tim Hooper, Karl Frick, John Bion, Chris DelSordo, and myself, will perform a 90-minutes set at the Upper Salford Park at the corner of Salford Station & Schwenksville Rds, This is all-ages event planned and organized by the Upper Salford Township Park & Recreation Board and the Township Supervisors. Children, pets and coolers welcome! Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy fine family music under the stars. The weather is predicted to be perfect! Special thanks to John Stacy for this annual show.
GARCIA BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE - Even though Jerry Garcia's actual birth date is August 1, The Mighty Manatees will be having a Garcia Tribute Show at The Rising Sun Barn on Thursday, July 28. It will be an evening of Jerry music featuring Mike Greer, Reggie Clark, Ray Adkins, Smilin' Ed, Dance Wareham, Bob Tomlinson, Joe Rizzo, and many more. Showtime is 7 to 11.
