Cafe reminder
Yes, we’re here
again.
The weather forecast for Sunday is ‘some showers’, so we are taking a
chance and we will open this weekend. If there is a little
drizzle while we’re there, we can all shelter under the kindy
balcony. Cakes are organised, coffee is organised, we should
even have some milk and maybe chocolate sprinkles for the cappuccinos...
Come along and have a community morning in the park!
Advance
warning - There may well be a Cafe Community Christmas
Conflab on 19th Dec. Mince pies, party hats, and Xmas table
cloths may be in evidence. A nip of brandy for the coffee....
who knows? (With this weather we might just need
it!!) WATCH
THIS SPACE!
See you this Sunday, Catherine Park, 10 till 12.

Point Zero Youth Services
Now that
summer is upon us Point Zero Youth Services will be sending its youth
outreach van every Saturday night through summer.
After a trial last summer, Point Zero is to become an annual part of
the beaches culture. The van travels through the late night
hot spots where young people gather at night. Vans are
staffed by paid professionals as well as local volunteers who offer
kids something to eat and drink, someone to talk to, a reassuring smile
and where necessary first aid, counseling and referrals to specialist
services.
We are always looking for volunteers, donations and corporate sponsors.
We are currently raising money to also send the van out on “Mona
nights” being Thursday nights
