Ce Dimanche ... direction les cèdres pour une rando exceptionnelle riche en superbes vues. Nous commencerons par la visite de la petite foret de cèdres avant de nous lancer sur une partie de la section 8 du LMT. Accompagnés des senteurs du printemps, nous surplomberons la vallée de la Qadisha en passant par le petit lac de Beqaa Kafra. Ce parcours de 11 kms nous mènera vers un village pittoresque faisant face à Bcharré. Bekaa Kafra est le Village natal de Saint Charbel. Il est perché entre 1450 et 1620 mètres et est considéré comme le plus haut du moyen orient.
Cette rando fait partie d'une série d'évements organisés par Lebanese Adventure en partenariat avec la Lebanon Mountain Trail Association (LMTA).

This Sunday , heading to the region of Becharré for an exceptional hike rich in superb views. We will begin by visiting the small forest of cedars before embarking on a part of section 8 of the LMT. Accompanied by the scents of spring, we will overlook the valley of the Qadisha passing by the small lake of Beqaa Kafra. This 11 kms course will lead us to a picturesque village facing Bcharré.
Bekaa Kafra is the birthplace of Saint Charbel. It is perched between 1450 and 1620 meters and is considered the highest in the Middle East.

What to bring:
Hiking shoes, back pack,water, sunglasses, sun screen, cap, fleece, wind breaker and a picnic.
Cost: 36$ (55.000LL) covering guides, transportation , insurance. (Kindly bring the exact change).
Meeting: at 7:30 am at the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh. To reach it, turn right towards Pain d'Or. The Parking is the 1st one on you left. Please, be on time!
